No Basketball Jones
The following players have reported they will not play for the US Olympic basketball team:
Tracy McGrady, Ray Allen, Jason Kidd, Kevin Garnett, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Elton Brand and Kenyon Martin
While some of them aren't playing for personal reasons, (McGrady is getting married, Bryant is busy with some sort of trial) others such as Kidd, Garnett and Malone aren't saying why the would refuse an invitation to play for hte US but I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with the possibility of a terrorist attack.

It has begun.
Marking only 100 days until the Olympics a series of bombs went off in front of a heavily guarded police station in Athens. An anonymous caller phoned a newspaper 10 minutes before the bombs were to go off, giving the police enough time to evacuate the builidng and surrounding area.
Shall we start a pool on when (or if) the Olympics will be canceled?
