as a point of correction to my esteemed colleague, the 72 olympics men team was robbed by the officials, lost to the soviets and took the silver. i don't believe the team accepted the medal...
today's loss was sad. somehow, it is indicative of all that is wrong with pro sports... perhaps it will serve as a wake up call...
threats of terrorism and obsession with the tour de france dampened my enthusiasm at first, but i am getting into the olympics now
