Awwwww...
Did anyone else see Sara Hildebrand, the US diver, bawl her eyes out when she realized she had made it into the diving finals? This is her second time at the Olympics and first time making it to the finals.
My colleague has talked about what the Olympics is all about to him, but seeing Sara so happy to make it just to the finals that she broke into tears at least 3 times is what the Olympics is about to me...reaching your goal and giving your best performance.
Her teammate, Laura Wilkinson, also made it to the finals by finishing the semi-finals in 10th place, one spot ahead of Sara.
