Oh How The Mighty Are Falling
First Venus Williams, the reigning Olympic doubles champion is out in the first round. Also Roddick and his high school pal, Mardy Fish lose in the first round of doubles as well. Then today, the number 1 men's seed, Federer loses. The number 5 seed, Juan Carlos Ferraro also fell today, but that is actually good news for US fans, as he was beaten by Fish. Roddick had a tough singles match today that went to a tie breaker in the third set but pulled out victorious.
