Did you know that Japanese curlers use English commands when they play? The English words for sweep, guard, etc. are shorter in English and therefore faster to pronounce. In this way, the Japanese stay competitive during competition...so competitive in fact, that they beat our women in extra ends, the equivalent of curling overtime, today.
